What is a Door Rain Guard?

A door rain guard, also referred to as a door rain drip guard, is mounted above a door or window to deflect water and prevent leaks. Doorbrim rain diverters mount on the structure above the door or window, which is preferable to drilling holes and mounting on the frame.  An overhead rain drip guard also protects and preserves exterior doors, windows, frames and hardware during inclement weather.
