WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY

 

  1. Standard Warranty Guideline

DOORBRIM Awnings warrants the replacement of any DOORBRIM Door Canopy that is defective (defined as cracking) in material for up to three (3) years from the delivery date (defined as the date the system is delivered by DOORBRIM Awnings with or without signature by purchaser) unless otherwise specified on special items.

  1. Exceptions to Warranty

2.1 Missing Items:

Missing items from your order MUST be reported to DOORBRIM Awnings within 5 business days from the delivery date (defined as the date the system is delivered by DOORBRIM Awnings with or without signature by purchaser) or the claim will be denied. All claims are subject to verification by DOORBRIM Awnings.

2.2 Damaged Items & Inspection Policy:

Please inspect your products upon arrival to check for any damages to the product. All damage claims must be reported to DOORBRIM Awnings within 5 business days from the delivery date (defined as the date the system is delivered by DOORBRIM Awnings with or without signature by purchaser) or your claim will be denied.

2.3 All products within a 14-day period from the date of purchase by the end-user may be returned for refund per paragraph #6 below, apart from Double Door Canopies, which are custom cut to size and not returnable.

2.4 If products are not purchased directly from DOORBRIM Awnings please contact the vendors or retailers from whom such products were purchased.

2.5 Warranty only applies to defects in materials and/or workmanship, which occur during normal use.  Warranty does not apply to those products that are damaged due to misuse, abuse, negligence or modification by any party other than DOORBRIM Awnings.

2.6 Warranty does not extend to any damage that occurs in shipment or due to natural phenomenon (i.e. lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms of any other severe act of nature).

2.8 Warranty will be voided if the original model number on the product is removed, whether by accident or intentionally.

2.9 Product purchase through auctions/online auctions/etc. will not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

2.10 The standard three (3) year warranty does not cover replacement due to standard wear and tear during normal use on the paint finish.

2.11 Any signs of abuse or intentional damage to the system will be documented and the warranty on the product will be voided. The customer will also be required to pay for return shipping on the system. See Section 7 for RMA Shipping Policies.

2.12 The warranty does not cover system damage due to extraneous events not directly related to the workmanship or material of the product including but not limited to surges, floods, fires, etc.

  1. Physical Damage Policy

Physical damage to any product purchased from DOORBRIM Awnings will effectively void our standard Warranty coverage. Physical damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any other type of damage sustained by irregular usage.

  1. Additional Warranty Terms

4.1 All defective DOORBRIM Door Canopies will be replaced upon return.

4.2 Your “Satisfaction Guarantee” return must be postmarked within 5 days of receiving the RMA to qualify for a refund subject to a 15% restocking charge.

4.3 Physical damage of any kind will void any applicable Standard or Extended warranty coverage.

  1. Third Party Distributor’s Warranty

5.1 Authorized Third Party Distributor’s are covered under a standard 90-day warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the date of invoice (defined as the date the system is shipped by DOORBRIM Awnings) unless noted on the product description. All items purchased from Third Party Distributor’s are not refundable; in other words, all systems purchased from Third Party Distributor’s are not eligible for the 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee from DOORBRIM Awnings.

5.2 Unauthorized Third Party Distributors are not covered by a DOORBRIM Awnings warranty.

  1. 14-day Satisfaction Guarantee

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your DOORBRIM Door Canopy, you may return it to DOORBRIM Awnings within 14 days from the invoice date (defined as the date the system is delivered by DOORBRIM Awnings with or without signature by purchaser) for a refund of the system price minus a 15% restocking charge. Missing and/or damaged items, and shipping cost will not be refunded. Systems purchased from Third Party Distributors are excluded from the 14-day Satisfaction Guarantee from DOORBRIM Awnings. This 14 day return policy does not apply to Double Door Canopies, which are custom cut to size and not returnable.

  1. RMA Procedure

7.1 The RMA Number must appear clearly and legibly on the exterior of every package sent to DOORBRIM Awnings. Please use a thick permanent marker to mark at least two sides of the box with the RMA number you are assigned. If a box is missing the RMA number, delivery of the package will be refused by DOORBRIM Awnings. Please follow the directions below:

All returned items must include 100% of the original content, along with manufacturer’s box, packing material, and documentation. If any of these items are missing, returned items may be denied refund.

8 Shipping Policy

Shipping
DOORBRIM Awnings is not responsible for lost or damaged packages during the shipping process. You must use FedEx, UPS, or DHL to ship the package back to DOORBRIM Awnings to ensure proof of delivery as well as insure the package against damages and loss. Please pack the DOORBRIM Door Canopy back into the original box, if possible, or pack it securely within the box you use.

Within the first 14 days from the from the delivery date (defined as the date the system is delivered by DOORBRIM Awnings with or without signature by purchaser), purchaser will cover standard shipping to DOORBRIM Awnings for the return for refund and during the warranty period return for replacement of a DOORBRIM Door Canopy.

During the warranty period, DOORBRIM Awnings will cover standard shipping to the customer for the replacement of the defective DOORBRIM Door Canopy within the Continental United States.

  1. WARRANTIES

DOORBRIM branded products come with a 3-year limited manufacturer’s warranty; this limited warranty covers defects (defined as cracking or chipping) in materials from DOORBRIM Awnings.

DOORBRIM Awnings MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR EXPRESS WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT EXCEPT THOSE STATED IN THIS DOCUMENT. DOORBRIM Awnings DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO ANY SUCH PRODUCT, INCLUDING AND WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULARPURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING FROM STATUTE, TRADE USAGE, COURSE OF DEALING, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES, DOORBRIM Awnings MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD BY DOORBRIM Awnings. DOORBRIM Awnings SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE UPON A CLAIM OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, INDEMNITY OR CONTRIBUTION, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY RELATING TO THE PRODUCTS IT SELLS WHICH EXCEEDS THIS LIABILITY LIMIT. DOORBRIM Awnings SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CUSTOMER, OR FOR MALFUNCTION, DELAYS, INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT DOORBRIM Awnings IS APPRISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIMS OR DAMAGES.
  2. General Terms and Conditions

(a) Payment Terms; Orders:

An order is not binding upon DOORBRIM Awnings until it is accepted; DOORBRIM Awnings must receive payment before it will accept an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment. Customer can make payment by credit card, wire transfer, or some other method prearranged with DOORBRIM Awnings. You agree to pay the amount(s) due as specified on the invoice.

(b) Shipping Charges:

Your total cost for purchase of any product will include shipping and handling charges shown on the DOORBRIM Awnings invoice.

(c) Title; Risk of Loss:

DOORBRIM Awnings will arrange for shipment of ordered product(s) to the Customer, Free On Board (F.O.B.) shipping point, meaning title to the product(s) and risk of loss passes to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier. DOORBRIM Awnings will advise Customer of estimated shipping dates, but DOORBRIM Awnings will, under no circumstances, be responsible for delays in delivery, and associated damages, due to events beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God or public enemy, acts of federal, state or local government, fire, floods, civil disobedience, strikes, lockouts, and freight embargoes.

(d) Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms and Conditions or the sales transaction between DOORBRIM Awnings and Customer shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflicts of law rules. Specifically, the validity, interpretation, and performance of this agreement shall not be governed by the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods. DOORBRIM Awnings and Customer consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and the venue of the State Courts of the State of Florida, Broward County, to resolve any dispute between them related hereto, and the parities waive all rights to contest this exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such Courts. Finally, the Customer also agree not to bring any legal action, based upon any legal theory including contract, tort, equity or otherwise, against DOORBRIM Awnings that is more than one year after the date of the applicable invoice.

(e) Severability:

If any provision contained in this agreement is or becomes invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in whole or in part, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect the remaining provisions and portions of this agreement, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified so as to have the most similar result that is valid and enforceable under applicable Florida law.

(f) Waiver:

The failure of either party to require performance by the other party of any provision of this agreement shall not affect in any way the first party’s right to require such performance at any time thereafter. Any waiver by either party of a breach of any provision in this agreement shall not be taken or held by the other party to be a continuing waiver of that provision unless such continuing waiver is made in writing.

(g) Entire Agreement:

These terms and conditions, together with the DOORBRIM Awnings invoice respecting the products ordered by Customer, are the complete and exclusive agreement between DOORBRIM Awnings and Customer, and they supersede all prior or contemporaneous proposals, oral or written, understandings, representations, conditions, warranties, and all other communications between DOORBRIM Awnings and Customer relating to the subject products. This agreement may not be explained or supplemented by any prior course of dealings or trade by custom or usage.
